In the waste business since 1997, WasteX provides medical waste and sharps disposal services. WasteX is privately owned and operated company that serves thousands of healthcare facilities in the Southeastern United States. The business was founded with the customer in mind and continues to strive for greatness in customer service, responsible environmental disposal practices and OSHA compliance.
WasteX, a leading name in southeastern medical waste disposal, donates 5% of monthly profits to local schools using the charity platform DonorsChoose.org. WasteX selects specific classrooms to donate to each month depending on the need a geography selection. Just recently, they were able to donate thousands of dollars’ worth of iPad’s and furniture to a Elementary school in Florida. “Charitable giving is a really big part of who we are as a company,” explains Drew Clark, President of WasteX. The motivation came from Mr. Clark’s wife, a school teacher. “It’s incredible the amount of assets school districts require teachers to buy as normal learning supplies. We hope to help teachers give students a better experience in the classroom by giving back as a successful local company.” If you have any interest in giving back to your local schools, please visit DonorsChoose.org. A little goes a long way!
